Customer Care Specialist
Responsibilities include:
- Communicate with existing clients regarding additional lending opportunities
- Conduct initial welcome call to client after mortgage has been funded to ensure that their needs have been met
- Confirming payment frequency, dates, and contact information has been input in systems correctly and make changes as required
- Answer customer concerns and general inquires
Applicants should have an understanding of the mortgage industry but not essential. A sales background is preferred. |

Mortgage Underwriters
Responsibilities include:
- Review electronic applications received from the broker community
- Apply solid credit knowledge for analysis and adjudication of applications
- Work closely with an assigned team including a business development officer to appropriately assess risk and approve acceptable business
- Work closely with the broker community to ensure a high level of service is provided to our mortgage origination partner and repeat business maintained
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years experience in the mortgage industry. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in accepting applications from the broker community. Strong knowledge of CMHC and Genworth requirements is necessary. |

Mortgage Closer
Responsibilities include:
- Review all documentation received from brokers on committed deals for legitimacy and completeness.
- Prepare files for transfer to funding department for completion
- Work closely with an assigned underwriter team to ensure all conditions are met
- Work closely with the broker community to ensure documentation received and repeat business maintained
Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year experience in the financial industry preferably in the mortgage area.

Mortgage Funder
Responsibilities include:
- Review files to ensure all required documentation is in place
- Prepare document checklist and determine requirements for solicitor instructions
- Review solicitor preliminary reports and communicate deficiencies/requirements
- Calculate mortgage advances and remit funds to lawyers with appropriate conditions
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years mortgage funding experience including a thorough understanding of mortgage documentation and advancing procedures.
