- What is required to withdraw funds from a Cashable Non-Registered GIC held with ResMor Trust?
We would require a Letter of Direction signed by either the client or the broker. This letter can be faxed or mailed to us at the number or address above.
- Can ResMor Trust direct deposit funds to a client’s bank account?
Direct Deposit: Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) instructions will be accepted for both Non-Registered and RRIF accounts. A copy of a void cheque is required to avoid any errors in the bank codes, transit numbers etc.
Exception: ResMor Trust cannot direct deposit funds for cashable withdrawals.
- What happens once a GIC is booked?
Once a GIC has been purchased with ResMor Trust a Confirmation of Deposit is sent to the Deposit Broker with all the GIC particulars.
- Can ResMor Trust accommodate odd GIC terms?
Odd terms or specific maturity dates are acceptable if requested.
- Does ResMor Trust offer Tax Free Savings Accounts?
No
- Does ResMor Trust take LIRA, LRSP, or LIF’s?
No
- What does ResMor Trust require to guarantee an RRSP or RRIF rate?
We would require a fax copy of the RSP/RIF application and the Transfer form.

- What does ResMor Trust require for an RSP/RIF renewal?
We would require a Letter of Direction signed by the broker indicating the new term.
- Where can I get an RRSP or RRIF application?

We would require a Letter of Direction signed by the client. This can be faxed or mailed to us at the number/address provided above.
- Can ResMor Trust direct deposit to a client's bank account?
